氖气 (Neon)

Neon is an important member of the noble gas family, with an atomic number of 10. It has a complete outer electron shell, making it extremely stable and inert. In its natural state, it is colorless and odorless, but when an electric current passes through it, it emits a distinctive orange-red glow, becoming synonymous with city nightscapes as the ‘neon light.

Although neon accounts for only about 18 ppm in Earth's atmosphere, its unique luminescent properties and stability make it widely used in neon indicators, high-pressure indicators, lightning arresters, and certain types of lasers.
